When it comes to planning for college, the sooner the better. Getting your child to choose a college and then start the application process may require some prodding on your part, so it's best to start nagging when they're finishing up their junior year of high school. Or when they're still in diapers, but that's completely up to you.

The transition from high school and living at home, to college and living on their own is a huge one for everyone involved. Getting through it comes down to trusting the school, trusting your child, and then being able to let go. The information on this site will hopefully help you to get to that point with the least amount of stress possible.
